Our unfolded story

Our story began in Basel, where three of us first crossed paths as packaging engineers. Though we eventually went our separate ways, we kept our connections alive. One day, while reconnecting at a bar and sharing our views on packaging industry and the problems we identified a new idea was born.

We were shocked to see how the industry had lost its way, with unsustainable and poorly designed packaging everywhere. It became clear that greenwashing and empty claims were misleading us all. Over the past years, we have seen gained ground and visibility within companies, and there is a needfor a data-driven step up in quality to make optimal decisions.

That’s when we knew we had to step in and make a difference. With a shared vision for a greener world, we joined forces with two passionate individuals from finance and supply chain backgrounds to found acura eco. Our mission was clear: to challenge the status quo and drive genuine, collective progress.
